A RESOURCE TO HELP DECOLONIZE THE MIND / HISTORY

The struggle of the Indigenous People/NATIVES/TRIBAL is the same all our ancestors went through. 

Once upon a time, there was a place that was so abundant in life, it gave the people of this place time to think and observe. For centuries now, human beings have moved from place to place. Migrating and evolving their way of life as they move. They adapted. But the core way of life, stayed the same. It evolved, yes, but the core is still the same. This is the INDIAN. The term used by Europeans when they met anyone other than someone who looked and acted like them. This is evident in any history book you come across today. Everyone is an Indian. But what is this Indian? Why did the Europeans not call people differently? If we are so stagnated in progress and there was some places in the World who 

This is where my search started. As an young Indian born, immigrant to Canada, it always baffled me when I would be asked to clarify which kind of an "Indian" I was. Was I the one with the dot on the forehead or the other one. I know many Indian people have been asked this question and we've answered
